Through the financial support of so many generous people who believe in me, I was able to take a huge step forward on my journey to professional golf by joining IJGA full time for my Junior and Senior year (2023-2025). Now that my two years at IJGA are behind me, looking back, joining that family was one of the best decisions I've made. I also want to say a big thank you to Andrew Summers, CEO of IJGA, who gave me the opportunity to join IJGA in the first place by offering me a very generous scholarship.That's the biggest thing I got to experience at IJGA — people willing to sacrifice their time and resources to make IJGA a better place, because they know it's bigger than themselves. Having been part of that, and still being part of it as an IJGA alum, is invaluable.

Coaches at IJGA
After visiting another academy that wasn't IJGA, my family and I came to the conclusion that IJGA would be the best place for me to grow — not just as a player, but as a person. I had already spent four weeks there as a short-term student, getting to know most of the coaches and taking in the atmosphere. From the very beginning, it felt like a second home.
Having such dedicated and passionate coaches made the decision to go full-time an easy one. When I started in August of 2023, I found friends quickly, and in no time I was part of the family. And just like a real family, not everything was perfect — but that's exactly what made my time at IJGA so unique and valuable. It wasn't a place that handed you a finished version of yourself; it was a place that made you work for it, alongside people from all over the world who were chasing the same dream in their own way.
Navigating the daily challenges — the good days and the hard ones — while sharing that journey with people from so many different backgrounds shaped my personality more than almost anything else in my life. And I believe it shaped it for the better.

Montverde Highschool
Montverde was also a big part of my life during my time at IJGA, and it was great to get a full American high school experience alongside the golf. They did a great job organizing events like Homecoming and prom — the kind of experiences that are unique to American schools and genuinely fun to be part of, especially coming from a different school system entirely. But beyond the events, Montverde went above and beyond to make sure every student was actually prepared for college, not just academically, but for the transition itself. The advisors made a real effort to keep us informed about everything that would matter once we got there — the kind of guidance you don't realize you needed until you're actually using it.
I can honestly say I only had good experiences with the teachers and advisors I worked with at Montverde. They cared, and it showed.
